It's some of the BEST pizza I've ever had. Been to NY and Chicago and had their pizzas, which are great. Have had Detroit pizza in the past, but by far this is the best I've had. Sales were great as well. Always had superb service. Food co.es out quick and hot. I'm afraid to recommend this as I'd like to keep this as a hidden treasure, but here it is.
We love Tony's Detroit style pizza!! The thick, crispy crust and delicious ingredients make it so good. We usually order the super pizza, which we love. But tonight, we had the Detroiter. Wow, wonderful pepperoni, shaved parmesan, and spicy herb blend on top of the crust. Also, we wanted to mention the wonderfully friendly service by Joshua. He is so cheerful and engaging. It really makes it an enjoyable experience. Great food and service in Mt. Pleasant!
Visiting family from a Detroit suburb and wanted to get some good, non-chain local pizza while in Mt. Pleasant. Did a Google local search for pizza near me and sorted the choices by highest rated. Happy to see 'Detroit style pizza' in the name of this restaurant. Highly rated reviews and let me tell you they lived up to the hype! We ordered the Mediterranean and the BLT specialty pizzas. They were absolutely fresh and delicious with a perfectly crispy crust without being overly greasy. All of us- Michiganders and the locals alike; loved this pizza. Our family that lives there will be ordering again in the future and we will be sure to stop by on our next visit. We did take out but I popped into the dining area which was absolutely spotless and charming and full of Detroit, Michigan memorabilia. Try this place for sure!
The service is always fantastic, and the food is always delicious and consistent. My personal favorite is the meatball pizza (not pictured).
I've had tons of pizza down south and I was just gonna give up looking for a good one. This place was awesome. Great Detroit style Pizza. Best southern pizza I've ever had. And if you like Detroit AWESOME pics inside. LOVE THIS PLACE, GO LIONS
The quality of the pizza here was really good. It’s funny I say this, but I actually found the crust to be almost as good as the actual center part of the pizza. The cheese that they use starts as a 40 pound block of cheese and they grind up two or three of those a day. This was my first for a Detroit style pizza and I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed it. I got the cheese and the margarita pizza has two separate halves of a full-size pizza and I thought that was a great choice as a vegetarian.
Amazing Detroit style pizza and wonderful atmosphere! Pizzas are just as good as or better than some of the Detroit style pizzas I grew up eating on the lower East side of Michigan. Really enjoyed all of the Michigan sports team and music memorabilia on the walls. Felt like home away from home! If you've never tried Detroit style pizza or grew up in Michigan and miss it, you must try Toni's.
Best Antipasta salad I've ever had ! Pizza was delicious as well. Being from the Detroit area we really appreciated the decor.
